Effective defence of the defendant law firm

Our client’s success in a court dispute worth nearly PLN 7 million!

The claimant sought compensation for alleged improper performance of legal service agreements. As a result of incorrect advice, he was to pay compensation to his contractor for the failure of an investment agreement.

The court dismissed the claim, emphasising that the claimant had not presented any evidence linking him contractually to the defendants, nor had he proven that he had suffered any damage. After hearing the evidence, the court had no doubt that the claimant’s performance was voluntary and not the result of errors in legal services. There was no adequate causal link between the actions of the defendant law firm and the payment made by the claimant. The payment was made to settle the personal debt of the claimant’s beneficiary, who was also its sole member of the management board.
